A Date With a Princess

The kids and I had the wonderful opportunity to join my mom and sister for a day at Disneyland and CA Adventure. Sadly, Dan was unable to come with us do to work, school and coaching schedules. I decided this time to splurge a little and make a lunch reservation at Ariel's Grotto. If you have a daughter that is into princesses I HIGHLY recommend this. Taylor was in awe the entire time. All throughout her lunch the different princesses came to our table, signed her book and took pictures with her. Trying to keep her focused on actually eating was asking a little too much of a star-struck 4 year old.
Although I was initially hit with sticker shock when I first looked at the prices for this magical lunch, to me it was well worth it. Not only because it made my Taylor girls year to eat lunch with five princesses and get to dance with Belle. I think of it more like creative multi-tasking. Instead of waiting in lines for HOURS to meet each of the princesses, they come to you while you eat (something we already do anyway). So for me, it saved hours of line waiting and trying to keep Cameron distracted and content while waiting to see a princess he couldn't care less about. Everybody wins! Especially our little princess lover.

Behind the Times

I know, I am WAY behind the times. When it comes to technology I don't stay on the cutting edge by any means. But I thought I would give blogging a chance. I can't promise I will stay totally current but I will do my best to give anyone that may stumble upon this glimpses into the life of the Mahaffie's. Cheers!
